Federated Core is like a Linux distribution in the cloud. It includes a number of leading open-source projects fully integrated so that users don't have to be systems administrators.
## What is included in this documentation?

* **Core Applications**: Want to learn more and in-depth about each of the user-facing applications that are part of Federated Core? These pages detail application-by-application what is available and the capabilities of each.
* **Client Applications**: You can connect and your your Federated Core with applications native to your PC, Macintosh or mobile phone of whatever variety. This is a list of some of those applications and how to connect them.
